Obviously the 1911 is the gold standard, but I'm delighted to see the Smith and Wesson M&P at #3. I bought one last year, compact model in .40 cal. It is really sweet, easy to conceal and accurate. It has displaced my Rossi .357 Mag as my favorite concealed carry weapon.

Smith and Wesson is off the $#!+ list for its capitulation and collaboration with the clinton administration on anti-gun regulations now, I guess. Did the british company that had bought them divest?

I too was happy to see the S&W M&P at number 3. I bought the S&W M&P 357sig compact a few months ago. That brings the handgun collection up to 5. Long gun collection stands at 6.

I agree. I have one on my hip right now and don’t even know it’s there. Fairly easy to take apart and clean as well.

A number of gun store types have said the M&P 9c is their next purchase- great series of guns, very ergonomic. I really like mine.
