But it won't be "us" rioting, it will be those who have not prepared (think the masses in NO during/after Katrina).
No, "we" will not be rioting, "we" will be quietly planning and organizing.
"We" already have a loose network of like-thinking Americans who have basic stores laid in and common weapons and ammo - I'm not talking "survivalists" or "militias" - just regular Americans who have the same heart and minds......

I have way more confidence in the common sense and love of freedom of our American Armed Forces.
Tanks, IFVs, and and helicopter gunships all have soft pink centers that have to get out, eat, sleep and take a leak now and again.
If they turn their turrets on the civilian population of this country, then the crews of these vehicles will all eventually be destroyed by the angry civilian resistance.
Spain was outgunned and outmanned by the oppressive French army, and their citizens fought hard and won their freedom and liberty back.
Even our Colonial ancestors were outclassed in battle, but still won the war for freedom anyway.
Never, ever underestimate the capabilities of a pissed-off and well-armed guerilla movement that is fighting for their very freedom and God-given rights, such as the one that will be subsequently present itself IF the federal government starts killing American civilians by order of Raila Odinga's favorite cousin.
What makes you think they'll have any success against an insurgency?

“Them” will include the children, wives, mothers, fathers and friends of soldiers, Marines, Sailors and airmen.
How will those manning tanks and gunships killing “them” make out against the 1st MarDiv, the 101st Airborne and a few attack squadrons from the Air Force?

Who says they’d be perfectly willing to kill them? Are they going to staff the forces with foreigners? Cops love cracking skulls and national guardsmen have been known to fire on unarmed civilians. But pitched battle is different. The men shooting at us will still be Americans, and may not enjoy slaughter. Then again, the boys in the blue shirts didn’t mind raping Atlanta and the Shenandoah Valley, so who knows?
Pray those in command of the tanks, IFVs and gunships are members of Oathkeepers

Simple...we put Taliban and insurgent tactics to use. Remember, if you’re in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

better question would be whether said folks would make it into their toys first...
then after that, eventually they all must exit to take a leak occassionally...
