Dorothy Rabinowitz wrote the most eloquent pieces on that shameful case, and that shameful case was just one among dozens in the Salem Witch Trial epidemic that swept the country. In an ideal world, THAT case and Martha Coakley’s participation in it could and WOULD be just one among many ways to educate the voters of Massachusetts just WHO this woman is, who happens to be their AG, and who now wants to be their Senator. Just WHAT, you have to ask yourself, is it that prevents the Brown campaign (and any number of others in the past and future) from going ahead and making this one of the weapons in their arsenal?
