Oh I am sure he had his answer at the ready, and probably since the day he decided to run.
What I found remarkable was the tone and confidence of that answer...Republicans don't often (never) speak this way to Democrats or their state run media. Like Pavlov dogs, most R's would have praised Teddy, and promised to respect that “seat” as Kennedy's forever.

He may not win, and he may even decide to vote for Obamacare in some new incarnation.

His attempt to achieve a 500 thousand dollar money bomb today failed. Well, that is, it failed to stop at 500 thousand. It’s at 1.3 million now.

Great line, I would cut a commercial on with that in it tommorrow. This is the way the media thinks that this is Ted Kennedys seat to be given in inheritance to the Democrats. Right on, right on!
I don't know if this answer was rehearsed or planned for, but if not, it shows how well Scott thinks on his feet
Regardless, a commercial with this line would be VERY effective, especially among the Independents--that is if Taxachusetts has any? lol

In the same vein, you might recall Obama saying that his former Senate seat should only be filled by another black.
It’s truly become the American House of Lords.

Do the democrats think they can just trot a moron out there and the people of Massachusetts will vote for the letter before her name? They learned from the people of Michigan electing Debbie Stabenow, moron supreme!

From UTUBE Commenter: "Gergen was being a total partisan douche. Good job bitchslapping him, Scott!" Gergen is what the Leftys think is an unbiased moderator but we all know he is just a McCain type of tool!

That clip really shows how Brown was put in a 3-on-1 situation last night. Gergen was leading the ‘Coakley team’, but stalking horse Kennedy got some jabs in too.
Brown did a very good job of asserting himself in that situation without ever coming across as mean or unlikeable.

It helped that she had statewide recognition and exceptionally week opposition in the primary.
The electorate was in no mood to promote as an alternative one of their ‘progressive’ Congressmen, a ‘community organizer’, or a dufus fat cat who managed to outflank the former on the left.

He has destroyed her.How soon before they play the gender card as they did with Hillary and Lazio? You can't be mean to the girls you know.

If she wins, it will be a shame. It'll be an ACORN recount coupled with an Al-Frankened votes found in car trunks in Alaska, etc.
If the people in MA let that happen, it'll be another step toward the 0Banana Republic and that doesn't bode well for the Nov. '10 elections.

Yet, Bob Beckel on Hannity said no way will a republican win this seat in MA. He said I know elections and have called elections right...as the NJ Governor race...I hope he is wrong. For Beckel, denial is not just a river in Egypt.
He is a team player and won't throw in the towel until the 11th hour.
I observe politics too, and my gut tells me he is going to win it.

In my profession (lawyer) it is generally understood that if you say “with all due respect” what you’re really saying is something I can’t post on Free Republic. :-)

“Ten Kennedy’s Seat”
It seems that this young man has the right frame of mind to go to Washington. (It’s always nice to see a courageous, young American to seek political office who can buck the socialist machine that would seek to destroy him.)
IMHO
