Obama Going on Six Months Without a Press Conference

President Obama is preparing for his State of the Union address, expected sometime in the next month, but some in the White House press corps are getting antsy for him to hold a news conference with reporters, something he hasn't done since July 22, almost six months ago.

I think the article begs the question as to why Obama avoids answering media questions via press conferences. Whenever he is speaking before a group of journalists, he does not answer any questions.

President Bush met with a head of state once or twice a week almost every week he was in office. He took a few questions from the press even though they were seldom on the topic of that person's country. These questions didn't count in the eyes of the DBM since they weren't full blown press conferences. Now zer0 doesn't take any questions at all. Does he even meet with these heads of state with press present? At least it's finally being noticed.

If Bush went six months there’d be HOLY HELL to pay from the MSM bashing up and down the block for stiffing them so long.

MSM just sits there and keeps on giving Lewinski’s to Gibbs and being patted on the head.

No wonder Fox is the only news service that’s profitable. They still attempt to maintain objectivity in reporting (of course not their entertainment shows).
