“”watching Janet Napalatano “”
As long as we don’t have to see pictures of her scanned image! Then the SECRET wouldn’t be a SECRET any longer.
Personally, I have serious moral concerns about these scanners. It’s foolhardy to assume that if they can capture the appropriately detailed image that they can’t store and ultimately transmit that same data. Sheesh, not all of us just fell off the turnip truck...
These scanners are making me reconsider flying ever again.
More troubling though, is the longer processing times for travelers. I rather imagine it’s only a matter of time before the terrorists among us realize that they can do one helluva lot of damage to the airlines if they just start blowing up the damn terminals...
It’s called a dog.
Anything stored in them “BAGS” could bring down a 747!
One has to be endowed with a pole before it can be taken.
If I ever go through one of these scanners I’m going to make sure I have a full erection.
That’ll show them.
Or they get a job as a baggage handler and just carry it on in.
I predict within 3 hours of any high-profile celebrity having a run-in with some scanner operator - the photos will show up on TMZ.
Yep. And some of those folks already attract plenty of attention when they travel.
Of course, Mr. Jeremy (pictured, well past his prime) is not overly modest. You can see what sort of problem Ron will have, though, paying attorneys to hunt down and sue purveyors of unauthorized penis pics.
Good example. He probably wants picture rights.
If someone wants to store a picture of my nether region and transmit it around the world, I wish them well.
I really don’t care. I don’t think it will stop the muzzies, but I don’t understand why people get so upset about this.

Replace those expensive and invasive high-tech scanners with bomb sniffing dogs, and announce that all passengers will be sniffed regardless of religion.
The muzzies will then be screaming for Muslim-only lines faster than you can say Allahu Akbar!
At some point Americans are allowed to say enough, the government taking nude pictures of them just for traveling, is too much for many people.
What difference is there between a guy operating an airport human x-ray scanner and a guy who rigs up a camera in a woman’s toilet?
If the trade-off for the full-body scan is that I can stop publicly undressing in the airport, I’ll take the scanner. I’m quite tired of stripping-off shoes, belts, jackets & sweaters just to clear security...
He could be a trend-setter for copyright tattoos:
"Copyright 2010, Ron Jeremy Entertainment, A Limited Liability Company, All Rights Reserved. WARNING: The unauthorized reproduction or distribution of this copyrighted image is illegal. Criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain, is investigated by the FBI and is punishable by up to 5 years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000."
:-)
There's no presumption of privacy in an airport, or anywhere that one of those body scanners might be used. Therefore, the facility owners and the scanner operator can't successfully be sued. Other than that, not much difference.
