You’ll have to ask The Pastor. I have no idea about what his proof is that Obama was in Al Qaeda or let alone another country or Afghanistan. But that is what he alleges. I am aware that the group was founded in 1988.

His quote was that he was in an AFGHANISTAN training camp, not Al Queda. And there were training camps there at that point. He does not mention Al Q. Not saying Rev. is right or wrong, but this is an incorrect quote you got a hold of.
From my understanding, after listening to the second video link I posted, Dr. Manning might be trying to say that Obama went to Afghistan and joined a radical group for training, but in the second video link I posted, Manning clearly says Obama went to Al Qaeda. However, you are right, that Al Qeada was not formed until after Obama would have been in Columbia.
