(CNN) -- James Cameron's completely immersive spectacle "Avatar" may have been a little too real for some fans who say they have experienced depression and suicidal thoughts after seeing the film because they long to enjoy the beauty of the alien world Pandora.

"Ever since I went to see 'Avatar' I have been depressed. Watching the wonderful world of Pandora and all the Na'vi made me want to be one of them. I can't stop thinking about all the things that happened in the film and all of the tears and shivers I got from it," Mike posted. "I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora and the everything is the same as in 'Avatar.' "

"When I woke up this morning after watching Avatar for the first time yesterday, the world seemed ... gray. It was like my whole life, everything I've done and worked for, lost its meaning," Hill wrote on the forum. "It just seems so ... meaningless. I still don't really see any reason to keep ... doing things at all. I live in a dying world."

I just saw it yesterday and i was left angry that people were cheering on the death of marines...these people who they interviewed are nuts...the place the navi’s were from didn’t look that great...why the hell would i want to live in a forest with monsters that would eat me if I don’t watch myself
They live in a ‘dying’ world as they call it because their sick liberalism, their ‘progressiveism’ is progressively debasing our morals, our children, the national pysche and reducing it to a mass of neverending feelgoodism which is a monkey on the collective back of the nation far greater than heroin, crack...whatever....I reallly wish they’d Kevork themselve, myself....
Indeed - if it's not a massive psyop, then some spooks really missed an opportunity.
Maybe if someone is suicidal after a stupid movie, then we’d be better off without them?
You think?
How many of these losers could actually survive 48 hours in a real exotic remote uncivilized location.
If the real predators didn't get them , starvation thirst and exposure would.........the local natives might even eat them!!!
Go for it, Mike! Go for it!
Well, that’s what he gets for putting the equivalent value of the Empire State building up his nose. Gotta catch up with you sooner or later.
I always find it amazing that people who believe in reincarnation think they will be "rebirthed" into highest species!
Mike, the poster might just be "rebirthed" as a dung beetle.
Some clever conservative needs to develop interactive “Avatar world” a virtual reality “gaming” software complete with 3D/stereo helmet and synthetic touch body suit.
The conservative would get very rich and the libs obviously would eat it up. Maybe they would all just stay in the artificial reality cocoon and leave the rest of us alone.
If I want beauty, all I have to do is to walk out on my deck to see the north end of the Coeur d’Alene mountains to the East and the rolling hills and small mountains to the west that lead up to Spokane mountain. Sunrise, sunset - it’s always worth a look.
How sad and dreary thigns must look from this guys parents basement.
I'm sure sometime in the future we will see "Avatar World" at Disney, Universal or some major theme park
Rest assured, this is a “placed” story thought up by some PR flack to juice the remaining weeks of Avatar’s run in the theaters...
These morons on convinced the earth is dying...
Yet there is life all around them...
Turn over a rock and see what you find - there’s life everywhere. Yet these fools can’t see it. Adolescent blind ignorance... Sucks to be them...
Jump, jump! (We know who you voted for and who you will continue to vote for.)
The great thing about satirizing liberals is that you can satirize them one week, and the next week it’s reality!
Wait, this isn’t satire? Never mind.
Screwballs, Nuts.
There should be Soylent Green trucks outside every theater showing Avatar. Tell them their biscuits will help feed the homeless Na’vi...
