Exactly. IMHO when she stepped down as Governer of Alaska, and the comments she made at that time, it was clear that she was going to pursue some sort of party PR or media talking head position.

I'm happy for her, and hope that she can do some good for the cause in that role. Obviously those who were hoping for her to run for President will be disappointed. Personally, while I think she's a fantastic person with a great personal story, I don't think she had the abilities to run that particular gauntlet. We need someone that won't be shaken up by a few biased questions from intellectual lightweights like Katie Couric.

She's never planned to run for the Presidency. First she resigns the governorship, then hawks her book and now she works for a news network. Too bad because I like her positions and she has been sounding better and better. Oh well.

Then again, I hope this is new ground, and the kind of transparency we can expect.
