I never bother with any ethnic crap. Being a working class white American, I know that excludes me from virtually any Government handouts.

This really hurts with my kids going to out-of-state colleges.

Are your parents white? You don’t qualify.
Do your parents work for a living? You don’t qualify.
Do your parents own their home? You don’t qualify.
Do your parents save any money outside of IRA and 401k? You don’t qualify.
Did grandma give your child a graduation check? You don’t qualify.
Are you an illegal alien? No? You don’t qualify.
Have your parents ever attended a Tea Party? You don’t qualify.

Well, you know that we whites are the only ones that can be called racists ....I know exactly what you mean and what I wonder is why the white man in this country allowed themselves to be tramped upon...the persons with the least amount of liberties are white men. We, whites, have no one to blame but ourselves because we have elected officals that have gone overboard in compensating for our white majority. I believe fervently that races should be determined equal based on abilities, qualifications, etc etc and not skin color but we, whites, have put into effect just the opposite. We are scratched off because of our skin color...even in the areas where we are now the minority. I mean this honestly: I share your pain and distress...my child suffers, too.
