So why didn't Schmidt quit the campaign if he thought Sarah had trouble with the truth?!

We know John McCain has trouble with the truth! He isn't trashing him!

well I’m glad that the mysterious “anonymous” source we’ve been hearing about for the past year finally has a name.

So now it comes down to the credibility of Steve Schmidt vs. the credibility of Sarah Palin.

I suspect that with the Packers-Cardinals football game going into OT almost no one saw this. Steve Schmidt is a pretty slimmy dude. He berated Sarah Palin for not bowing down the Charles Darwin. Schmidt is clearly a bully and a christian-hater as well as a loser in more ways than one. They wouldn’t let Palin do anything to try to win in 2008. They tried to frame her on the so-called wardrobe scandal.

I TIVO’d the thing and just watched it.

Schmidt lied something fierce.

Figures 60 Minutes farmed it out to Anderson Cooper.

I wonder why CBS 60 Minutes isn’t reporting on this story?! /s

US book details Bill Clinton’s 2nd affaire

Ex US President Bill Clinton had an affaire during the presidential campaign held by his wife, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who almost resigned from her post out of fear that he would interfere with her political tasks, according to an interview book based on democrat and republican public officials.

That group investigated the rumours of Bill Clinton’s extramarital affaires with a woman who has not yet been identified.

The conclusion was that Bill Clinto was indeed maintaining extramarital relations with another woman, with whom he sustained a romantic relationship and not just a one night tryst.

The book also reveals that, after the presidential victory held by Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton was said to have been worried that her personal issues may interfere with her ability to carry out her duties as Secretary of State.

To Schmidt: Be specific. Which "Palin statements" were/are lies?

To CBS (and all other BS media): Your in or out of government, is and continues to be shallow, petty and dishonest.

You cover up and lie for your own kind: liberal politicians and even sports "stars," Tiger Woods for years, for truly illegal, immoral and dishonest deeds. You then pretend to be outraged about conservatives, who might, merely made a simple "misstatement" you are so fond of saying about liberals.

I'm always suspect of your "sources" and seeing as how Steve Schmidt has had the "long knives" out for Sarah from Day One, one wonders what he's hiding in his , proves to me that: (1)you are really frightened of her and her ability to go around you to the people and we/they respond, (2)proves that you are less about "getting to the truth" than you are about attempting to capture your former power than you are about "honest journalism." It is truly dishonest and unethical.

If any of you really cared to do a honest exposure of lies, dishonest, corrupt, immoral politicians, you would have done so long ago, say in the most recent elections in this Century!

Unfortunately for you, those days are gone for you and will NEVER return.

What "untruths" Steve? If she's so ignorant, why don't we see it day in and day out? Everyone's been gunning to catch her saying or doing something idiotic but......still...........nothing.

Steve's out of his league.

Hope he ends up flipping burgers.

Clearly, Steve Schmidt needs someone to blame for the implosion and failure of the McCain campaign, so he blames the ONE person that procured 20 million extra votes for his client. Makes sense, no? THis loser and everything he’s doing now goes right to the heart of what is wrong with our political campaigns, and the only reason he’s putting himself out there is because he wants to continue on in the same line of work, getting paid the big bucks for being a total failure.I can’t see him getting hired for anything beyond local contests from here on in. And he will come lots cheaper; he should be grateful to get any work at all.

Interviewer: “Yes, Steve... Can you give us some specific instances where Mrs. Palin delivered an untruth?”

Schmidt: “Uh ummm well, she called all of John McCain’s staffers great professional people with the best interests of the nation at heart...”

“There were numerous instances that she said things that were – that were not accurate that ultimately, the campaign had to deal with,” said Steve Schmidt...

Name one or STFU.

Schmidt is like some freepers...a social lib who thinks there is no culture war.

Here they congregate on southern threads calling my ancestors nazis and guess what....they don’t like Sarah either ...and it gets worse.

We don’t need these folks.
