Put the bong down, Stone.
nly Oliver Stoned could come up with this sick view - DEE TA DEE!
Anti-American douchebag. He should do a “documentary” on the similarities between FDR and Hitler. That could prove very interesting is he was honest.
Instead, he’ll retell the lie that the Bush family gave Hitler money. Actually, it was a bank run by Averill Harriman that gave Hitler money. Poppy Bush just worked there, and not at that time.
So tell us, Oh Great One Oliver Stone, then why did your PRECIOUS Hitler, Stalin and Lenin find it within their little pumpkin hearts to murder of MILLIONS of their populations!!! Seems to me your liberal spin is rather getting in the way of REAL FACTS there.
Pffffffffffffft, typical Hollywood garbage!
He puts McCarthy with Stalin, Hitler and Mao?
You just can’t make up stuff as oddball as what some leftist’s propose.
So no doubt Stone's documentary will be colored at least in part by the pro-Stalinist lies of Walter Duranty, who perhaps single-handedly operated a coverup of the Holodomor and GULAG.
I can only imagine the garbage Stone will be putting out there: Litvinov was Britain's lackey-Jew; Molotov was a stalwart, noble anti-Fascist; there could have been no Holocaust without IBM punchcards; calculated as killings-per-minute, Truman surpassed them all, etc.
Someday, Stone will be remembered as the King of Revisionist “History”. Who cares what really happened, in Stone’s view, “history” should always contain lots of anti-Americanism. He’s a punk.
So I wonder if Oliver Stone[r] is as sympathetic to GW Bush or Nixon as he is to Hitler and Stalin?
“Stalin, Hitler, Mao, McCarthy”
McCarthy being included is what happens when a conservtive Senator uses Alinsky tactics.
Is Pat Buchanan a consultant on the upcoming ‘schlockumentary’?
One more time, I get to express my joy over the fact my offspring are grown...
Delusional. He should be committed, but then most of Hollywood should be.
“You cannot approach history unless you have empathy for the person you may hate,”
Oh. OK. I thought this article was satire at first, but apparently not. This is sounding bizarre even for him.
So, let me guess: It was really IBM and GM that were responsible for Hitler, right? And maybe they pushed him to invade Poland and kill those 6M Jews?
Hey, Stone: why don’t you do an expose of how much Joe Kennedy was an apologist and enabler of Hitler? I bet that’s one thing that won’t ever be put in “context”.

He’s run out of ideas...sad really.
It’s obvious what Oliver Stone is doing here. He’s playing out the plot from the producers.
“It’s springtime for Hitler...”
For some people, I think it’s okay to look behind the mask. With Hitler, that quickly turns into humanization, something that should never be done with a villain of this level.
This guy was a vile planetary criminal, more worthy than just about anyone else to be cast against a super hero character.
And in the end, he took his own life, rather than stand up and defend his actions like a man. Just a pathetic excuse for a man, a man supposed to have exceptional vision according to his fellow travelers.
And then people like you -- Oliver -- would be lamenting Hitler's assassination just as they lament Mossadegh in Iran, Allende in Chile, and any number of other petty radical socialists. If, that is, Hitler had been killed in say, 1935.
