The race to replace Ted Kennedy in the U.S. Senate is looking like a toss up, with Republican Scott Brown up 48-47 on Martha Coakley.
Brown is benefiting from depressed Democratic interest in the election and a huge lead among independents for his surprisingly strong standing.
Those folks planning to vote in the special election are actually opposed to Obamas health care plan by a 47/41 margin and only narrowly express approval of the Presidents overall job performance 44/43.
The Massachusetts Senate race is shaping up as a potential disaster for Democrats, said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling.

Brown ............................................................. 48%
Coakley........................................................... 47%
Undecided....................................................... 6%
There is a snowball fight in heck right now...
Dammit, don’t wake up the dims. Now they’ll get their cheating apparatus going and the dim will win by 327 votes or some such.
Has he said he will vote against obama care? I am concerned he may be a rino.
Yes, he has.
He will vote against ObamaCare. Check out his appearance on Hannity last night.
As far as being a RINO, he is right of center. I’d compare him to John Kyl, except Scott Brown is AGAINST illegal aliens.
Go Brown Go. We don’t need any more Kennedys or wanna be Kennedys.
Yes, he did. He made it his signature campaign issue.
I am concerned he may be a rino.
Brown is for tax cuts, reduced gov't spending, supporting the troops, and libertarian on abortion. Does that sound like a RINO to you?
No . He sounds great. Although,I just heard he was mad that a conservative group ran ads calling his opponent a “tax raiser” and demanded they “stop” . That is not good.
Don’t you know there is a lot of deal making and money changing hands right now to make sure Coakley “wins” this “election”. You can bet that ACORN and the union thugs will be pulling out all the stops in Massachusetts. A loss for the commie ‘RATS would be just too embarassing for them right now. The fix is in on this one.
He sounds great. so far.
I’ll believe it when I see it from Rasmussen.
“That is not good.”
Understand this catarac - we will not be dbnied!
You don’t suppose a number of non-humans will be voting? Such as those recently celebrated cats called for jury duty?
Scott is asking for donations to help fight ACORN and SEIU...he knows they bus people in from other states to vote.
Don’t worry about Acorn in Mass - when you lose Southie - you lose Massachusetts!

Honestly, Mass is full of Liberals but for the most part I don’t think the local town clerks are crooked, perhaps I’m nuts but I think they play honest (not to say within Boston proper dead men vote) outside of RT128.
The democrats rate him an ‘F’ - that’s good enough for me to support him.
