Geron, how close was this to Ventura?
I’m not Geron, but I can tell you that this quake was up near the Oregon border. Ventura is one hour’s drive west of Los Angeles, in the Southern end of the state... so not close. However some felt it mildly down here too. I live in Los Angeles and have been through many quakes in my almost 70 years!

Ferndale is way way way way up north near Eureka, as far as I can tell. 2 Hundred miles or so.
