Anyone who cares but feels it’s a lost cause would:

1. Not waste their time on these threads but go full steam ahead with other ways to fight 0bama.

2. Not harass, belittle, scorn and laugh at people working on this issue.

3. Would not lie.

Any proof that someone is really working on an initiative would be welcome. Anyone can say anything they want on the internet, doesn’t mean it’s fact.

I know good freepers who think this issue is a waste of time and guess what - they never post or waste their time on these threads. They are fighting on other threads, other issues, and efforts off of FR. They do not belittle, scorn, hassle or “LOL” anyone one concerned about eligibility.

Even though the president has already produced his short-form birth certificate in order to stop these questions, he has spent a LARGE AMOUNT OF TAXPAYERS money (estimated to be more than two million dollars) ensuring that the long-form certificate is kept from the public – an action that has raised more than a few eyebrows along the way.

ST is a contrarian and his style can be offputting even irritating.

This is an open forum and he is saying, from his perspective, this isn’t going anywhere, for a variety of reasons. Is it going anywhere? Hell, I want to believe that if you kick enough rocks over there will eventually be something under it.

If you have a rock garden and I oppose you everywhere and frustrate your ambitions, while exposing you, then it is worth it.

ST sees this as diluted energy, I don’t.

I see he finally did get around to pushing his point for change at state AG for oversight and responsibility. Wish he would get around to it sooner sometimes but, that’s his tyle.

In terms of belittling, scorn and laughing at people We have all engaged in it. Heck I am a smart ass deluxe and I am sure you have seen me have it out with more than one person.

It’s fun sometimes and at others dilutive but we do it anyway.

Furthermore:  Hawaii's Territorial Law, Chapter 57 - "VITAL STATISTICS, I" (the law in effect in 1961) allowed baby's born anywhere in the world to be eligible to apply for a Hawaii birth certificate.

Surreal. I got sick that day with a bad cold and had family over as well... and that was so surreal. I know now it was because my Mom and Dan knew that he has cancer (Stage 4 Lung, which is in his brain and liver as well) so it was very .... surreal. It was good... just well... bizarre. I am really close to my folks, so I think I knew with out knowing something was really wrong, but because I was really getting a bad cold, figured it was just the cold. It makes sense now of course.

The kids were happy and delighted, so for me thats a total win.

I hope yours was a lot better!

I have to admit I am not thinking too clearly.... so I am not following you.

I do know that no matter what is on Obama’s long form birth Certificate, the man is British, and is NOT a Natural Born Citizen because of it. He was British at conception. Doesn’t matter a whit where he was born.

Sorry if I am missing your point... like I said, I am not thinking real clearly right now. I just wanted to restate that particular factoid, because ultimately it is going to come down to THAT, not what is on his birth certificate.

Reported last week at Mother Jones, more and more people who have raised issue are being visited by the secret service and being left feeling very intimidated.

A most damning and unfortunately - not surprising - response. And may be one contributing reason, the 'Right' given implied status as 'enemies of State' by Homeland. And terroristic threats. . .may well include or 'begin' with challenging Obama's legal status.

Note the words "original vital records on file". This means that his paper work was filed and is being kept on file but was never accepted by the department.
