Passenger surrounded on board UAE flight to Dubai (Heathrow, London)

AUTHORITIES at London's Heathrow airport are investigating a security alert on board a plane bound for Dubai, amid reports that armed police had surrounded a passenger.

A spokesman for airport operator BAA confirmed " a security incident on an Emirates plane going to Dubai".

He said he had no further details about the incident and added: "It is only affecting that one plane, the rest of the flights at Heathrow are operating."

Sky News television reported that armed police had boarded the plane after a passenger made a verbal threat and took a man off in handcuffs.

Fox News is reporting that it was 2 or 3 ‘drunk’ young men.

I keep hearing from news reports that these were “young English men”. They question, I have is do the “young English men” have ‘anglo-saxon’ sounding names, or some ‘other’?

Apparently they were White according to this Sky News interview where the other passenger said they appeared to be White. Drunk = Stupid.

No matter the appearance of color (one witness could only confirm 'one' and not the other two; and it was not really a confirmation other than 'I think'); find it strange that while they have released their ages 58 - 48 and 36; and they have published 'witness' names; they have yet to give names of these perps who are still in jail. Have been following this story from London papers - and Sky News thinking that perhaps they would appear 'somewhere' here - eventually; but still, they have not been identified.
