Prayers for the family.

I had a dear friend who lost her Mom when she was 65 and her Mom was 92. She said that most people think that when your Mom is that old that you've had her a long time and it's not so hard.

She told me that when your Mom is that old and you've had her as your friend for so long, it's even harder.

I'm sure this is very difficult for VP Biden.

Same here - I offer my condolences to the Bidens. It is always a sad event, even if one’s parent has lived a full life.

“She told me that when your Mom is that old and you’ve had her as your friend for so long, it’s even harder.”

I imagine so.

Thankfully, this nice old lady was surrounded by those she loved.

I’m glad she lived to see her son make it this far in politics.

Both Biden and McCain were fortunate to have moms this late in life. Sounds like a nice lady.

Reports are she broke her hip ten months ago. I wonder if Joe sought the max in treatment for her or just offered her a pain pill.

Oh, I am sure Mama Biden was a sweet lady. She was an old time mama from with working class roots; she had to work hard to raise her boys. Then when Joe’s first wife and daughter were killed, I believe Mama Biden stepped in to raise his sons, who were very young. He had just been elected to the Senate, so (as we all know) commuted between Wilmington and DC every day, but it was his mother back home raising the boys.

As much as it didn’t bring joy to MY heart to see her son inaugurated as VPOTUS, I can only imagine the pride she felt, so for her sake, I’m glad she lived to see it.

A good question, hinckley.

Leftist politicians would never accept for their families or themselves what they are trying to foist on the rest of us.

Like Ted Kennedy, I'm sure Joe's Mom received only the best care..........and that was right.

May the left fail in its attempt to destroy our health care system.

I’m with you, EDINVA. She wasn’t only sweet, she had a wicked sense of humor, you can tell from just that photo.

And she was a true saint raising those kids.
