...Palin endorses John McCain?
Top ten...
1) She's just "playing the game". Standing on principle and voting the RINO's out is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with Sarah becoming prez.
2) If Sarah says supporting RINO's is okay, that's good enough for me. The Messiah is infallible and what do I know?.
3) She's not being inconsistent, she's making a tactical retreat, but hey that's politics.
4) A smart move by the smartest woman in the world.
5) She didn't want to but the dims threatened to file an ethics complaint if she didn't.
6) She's not quiting, she's reloading.
7) What endorsement? That wasn't an endorsement she was repaying a political favor. Everyone does it.
8) That was part of her master plan to make dims and the MSM fear her even more...if that's even possible.
9) C'mon, McCain wasn't THAT bad...
10) Who cares? Look at those LEGS!
It's not that surprising Palin would support McCain since during the campaign she said the only thing they disagreed on was drilling in Alaska.
Was that accurate or not? Maybe they agree on more things than we know. I say give her a pass on this one.
Do you think the founding fathers supported government payments for disabilities? What is your position on that? Do you think that's included within an "originalist view of the Constitution"? Where does Paul stand on Social Security disability for those who need it?
BTW, you used to post under the username "libertyman", an account that now shows up as banned. How did that come about?
BTTT
I know that most of the Founders did NOT favor the fedgov being involved in helping the poor or disabled. NEITHER DO I. I think this is another issue that should be the responsibility of the states. There is an important statement that was made by James Madison on this topic, & I wish I could remember where I found it.
I know that Rep. Paul opposes SocSec...so what? I admired him long before I became legally blind. The principles that he espouses are much more important than me. Heck, if I was gonna be a single-issue voter & support the conservative Welfare State ( now there's an oxymoron!), then I might as well be an average Republican.
However, since the federal gravy train is rolling, I might as well get on board. I have been given a ticket due to my being legally blind, so like any normal person, I don't want it to leave the station w/o me.
I argued w/ my family about this before I filed for Disability. My mom was worried sick about me (literally!) & I began to feel guilty about that & finally caved in. I lost my house, my job, my career, & my car in the process of satisfying her, & doing so is one of the worst decisions I have ever made, I must admit. Not to mention the fact that I also moved from the city that I loved in order to be nearer to them. Now that she has passed away, & jave moved back home to Little Rock & couldn't be happier.
hmmm
I’m laughing so hard, I can hardly type...Which, is probably a very good thing...
