Andrew Jackson was the very sort of person that our founding fathers did NOT want to see elected President.

Amazing.
I have been using “Traitor Party”, but I like the “Party of Treason” much better.

The rat party was (and still is) the party of slavery and secession; of segregation and Jim Crow; of “progressive” taxation, regulation and “reform” that has slowly but surely undermined every important institution in this nation. It’s history is stained by treason, racism and subversion. Everything it accuses its enemies of being and doing it IS and DOES.

I am reading “Grant” right now. I can tell you that the democrat party during his Presidency, was a bunch of worthless racist turds. There is nothing new under the sun.

Magic ink in 1890.
And better yet, magic ink that lasts at least 119 years!
Yeah man, those old guys were smarter than we thought.

I think this is the first tombstone that as far as I know the letters where painted. I have suspicion that this was a photo-shopped picture. Never the less whether it was or not this does give me some ideas on some old tomestones near where I live

That pic looks fake to me. Inscriptions look to me like a magic marker being used on a blown up photo.

Yes I agree with Grigsby.
As I understand Grigsby, most of the ill that has fallen upon this country in the past 100 years has been on account of the policies of the modern Democratic Party. From the creation of the vulgar welfare state to the madness of the 1965 Immigration & Reform Act, it's been this party that has induced so much suffering on our Republic.
Oh how I despise the Democrat party. They have caused so much pain and suffering. What I cannot decide is are they stupid or evil or more like the combination of both.

My favorite quote...
Every Rebel guerrilla and jayhawker, every man who ran to Canada to avoid the draft, every bounty-hunter, every deserter, every cowardly sneak that ran from danger and disgraced his flag, every man who loves slavery and hates liberty,... and every villain, of whatever name or crime, who loves power more than justice, slavery more than freedom, is a Democrat. - James A. Garfield, 1866

Is he registered to vote?
To: RolandTignor
What is interesting is that when this guy died, the last genuinely honest Democrat to hold the office had been narrowly defeated for re-election and the party hacks had hoped it was the end of his career.
He came back to win re-election in 1892, the only man in the history of our nation to do so.
Ever since, while the Democrat party has produced an occasional great leader at the state or local levels, this was the last great president which they produced. That includes Harry Truman who, while personally honorable, was never the great president he is cracked up to be.
