I hope they check to make sure he was actually drunk and not having a diabetic episode. I have a Type-1 diabetic friend who nearly died when she got arrested by police for suspected drunkenness when she was actually having a serious blood sugar problem (I think it was low). Slurring, stumbling etc. She nearly ended up in a coma.

I have no sympathy for drunk, unruly, or muzzie flyers but after what happened to my friend I do hope they check out the blood sugar issue.

That happened to my Dad years ago. He begged the police for a cube of sugar. They finally gave it to him. When they realized what had happened, they took him to a hospital.

Yes, I just posted to someone else that I want to know exactly how he managed to get “drunk” and also to learn the exact reading of his alcohol content in his blood.

I hadn’t thought about a diabetic episode! You’re sure right about that!!!!

I experience vertigo (severe at times) and I'm sure that when I've straightened up from weeding my flower beds my neighbors have thought that I'm drunk cause I'm stumbling around acting like I'm drunk.
