WASHINGTON (AFP) The White House on Friday described news that the US economy lost 85,000 jobs in December as "disappointing."
"Today's jobs report is, obviously, disappointing," said spokesman Robert Gibbs, adding: "We are in a very tough economic environment.
"Since this recession officially began more than two years ago, seven million jobs have been lost."
...
The White House said ordinary Americans were still suffering, but showed some signs of optimism.
"We've got a long way to go," said Gibbs, "I think if you look through and analyze some of the numbers, there are some bright spots."

Just be thankful he doesn’t carp out the MSM talking point: funemployment.
To: NormsRevenge
The unemployment rate was 7.2 percent when Bush left office. Now it’s “10” percent. Actually, it’s over 17 percent.

The only thing he is right about is that when the DUMMIES took over the Congress, the recession started.

The GOP has a play available. Unfortunately it is run by traitors and idiots.
Go Conservative, either in the GOP or as Independent.

Problem is Gibbs is nothing more than part of the communists in control of Washington. He gets his message out to hundreds of millions through the MSM and the ignorant Americans believe it. Unfortunately we have to realize that at least one half of Americans are child like fools that most are of no hope to see that America is on the road to communism and their very life styles will end.

Absoluely right. The economy started to tank when the Dems took over Congress in Jan of 2008. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they trashed it on purpose to make Bus look bad and get Obama elected.

We need a biblical solution to the problem. Give us all 100,000 dollars to go start businesses with.

It's so painfully obvious that this is exactly what the Soetoro administration wants. The more people out of work, the more people lose their health benefits. The more people w/o benefits the more will line up for Zer0care.
As you say:
There are no coincidences in politics.

“In year 3 they will still be blaming Bush.”
After 80 years, they’re still blaming the (first) Great Depression on Hoover. Some things, you have to get used to/s;)
