CNS News ^ | 1/8/10 | Fred Lucas

(CNSNews.com) – President Obama and his White House counterterrorism adviser on Thursday accepted responsibility for attempted terror attack on Christmas Day that could have knocked an airliner out of the sky over Michigan.

Although Obama called for increased accountability, no one was fired: “I am less interested in passing out blame than I am in learning from and correcting these mistakes to make us safer,” the president said. “For ultimately, the buck stops with me. As president, I have a solemn responsibility to protect our nation and our people. And when the system fails, it is my responsibility.”

This “vanity/no link” was posted yesterday. This administration is clueless.

I just heard this on Fox. Napolitano saying she was surprised by the determination of Al Qaeda.

Napolitano surprised by AQ determination.

Meanwhile, the TOTUS was at its best yesterday scrolling the heartfelt POTUS comments all the while engaging in a game of PONG.

My newest favorite diversion when The Zero is speaking is to go "blip" whenever he switches between teleprompters. Here is how it went yesterday:

“I am less interested in passing out blame (blip) than I am in learning from and correcting (blip)these mistakes to make us safer,” (blip)the president said. “For ultimately, the buck stops with me.(blip) As president,(blip) I have a solemn responsibility to protect our nation(blip) and our people. (blip)And when the system fails, (blip)it is my responsibility.”(blip)

This is what we get by putting someone in office with absolutely no experience in world affairs or without a military background. I can fore go the military experience if the person has a great deal of respect for them. All we have now is a community organizer that even failed at that. All he can do is what others tell him to do. Other than that, he has no idea what so ever as what to do about anything.

Funny! Would look even funnier if somebody could take your idea and edit a speech from Zero by inserting the *blip* at the right moment and posting it on YouTube

I can only imagine how much more over their head and floundering they would appear if the Panty Bomber had been successful. I have no doubt that Barry and Nappy and the gang would have been on the airwaves telling us not to jump to conclusions. In fact they would have been jumping through all sorts of hoops trying to convince us that it was not a “man caused disaster” (ie. terrorism), at least until Al Qaeda made an annoouncement claiming responsibility.

“I am less interested in passing out blame (blip) than I am in learning from and correcting (blip)these mistakes to make us safer,” (blip)the president said.

...unless, of course, he’s blaming the PREVIOUS administration, SoKatt said.
