I believe that no new mosques should be built. I believe that some of them need to be watched closely. I believe that organizations like Cair need to be disbanded as they are enemies of our government.
This is a war between Ismael and Issac. See it for what it is.
Your first statement and your last statement are contradictory. That being said, who do you want fighting your religious battles, the Government of the United States (you know, the one currently being run by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama) or GOD?
I'll put my trust in God. You can put your trust in the Government. But remember the Government that can take away a Muslim's right to believe and worship according to the dictates of his conscience can just as easily take away the rights of a Christian to do the same.
In fact while you are clamoring to give the government MORE power to regulate our lives, they are doing just that. In Canada the GOVERNMENT is prosecuting preachers who preach against homosexuality and in England they are because they refuse to allow women to be priests.
They don't have a first amendment to protect these religions. We do, but some here think it is expedient to throw the first amendment out the window in order to stop some real or imagined spiritual threat.
I think we are stupid if we think we can use the power of government to control someone else's religion and think that that power will not be someday brought to bear against ours.
