A poll of GOP insiders suggests that ex-AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R) has little support among the party's professional class -- and maybe that's just how she wants it.
In a survey of 109 party leaders, political professionals and pundits, Palin finished 5th on the list of candidates most likely to win the party's '12 WH nomination. Ex-MA Gov. Mitt Romney (R) was the overwhelming choice of the

Conservatives, unsurprisingly, have soured on “GOP Insiders”.
They’re afraid she’s gonna come after THEM like she did the entrenched “good old boys” up in Alaska
Yep..this poll just shows exactly what is wrong with the GOP. They’d rather support an Obama in the making like Romney then someone who speaks common sense like Sarah Palin. Whatever, screw the GOP, I washed my hands of them a long time ago. I’m a Conservative first, when the Republican party gets their thumbs out of their ears and actually starts LISTENING to US then I will support them again
If Romney is the GOP choice, the GOP is FINISHED!
I hate to say it but, I think it’s time to start the Conservative or Constutionalist Party!
I have had it with the elitist’s of both parties!
I do not like 3rd parties.
That said if the GOP wants to commit suicide this is the way to get it done.
I think there are better candidates for the office than Sarah, most of them will never run for public office. But she is certainly capable of serving in the office.
Third party is not the way this should go, nor is it what I think she wants, but if they play the game this way IT WILL HAPPEN!
I am not sure who would loose more to a Tea Party, the Dems or the Republicans. I suspect the Dems, but both would bleed profusely.
The GOP insiders were never sweet on Palin to sour on her.
The”professional class” of the GOP are more than happy to remain the whipping boys of the Democrats and to kiss their asses when told to.
Not that I can determine. Who are these "insiders"? How do you know this poll wasn't picked out of the ass of a Democrat at the Folsom Street Fair/
Hmmmm...I seem to remember that the GOP RINO cocktail class has been sour on Sarah Palin since August 25, 2008.
GOP never liked Conservatives
LOL.
Notice that Huckabee isn’t listed?

You mean the “intellectual snobs” such as Frum, Brooks and Mitchell? No thanks.
“when the Republican party gets their thumbs out of their ears and actually starts LISTENING to US then I will support them again”
Thumbs in their ears now? I thought they were just going nyah nyah nyah nyah...can’t hear you!
When did they pull their thumbs out...oh never mind...
Mitt Romney owns GOP “insiders.” What a shock. /s
She should wear it like a badge of honor.
Time to make the names of these insiders public and run them the hell out of the party on a rail.
Big surprise. NOT!
