A poll of GOP insiders suggests that ex-AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R) has little support among the party's professional class -- and maybe that's just how she wants it.
In a survey of 109 party leaders, political professionals and pundits, Palin finished 5th on the list of candidates most likely to win the party's '12 WH nomination. Ex-MA Gov. Mitt Romney (R) was the overwhelming choice of the
Voters were asked to rank 5 candidates in the order of likeliness to capture the GOP nod. The results:

MN Gov. Tim Pawlenty 46 (9%)
Sen. John Thune 38 (12%)

What wins a primary is how favorable the candidate is to republicans, which means that Palin looks good, by the way would you give me the link to that Gallup poll.

He at least and as well; acknowledged some mistakes. And yes, can handle anything as a 'state issue'. And of course he repped a 'Democrat state' and do not think it is irreversible. . .

Sarah Palin (R) has little support among the party's professional classI like Palin, but never thought she should be president. The total spinelessness, the complete lack of direction of the Republican party have started moving me into the "Palin in '12" camp.
I'm not there yet, but she is the ONLY Republican who is saying the things I want "my" party to say, and forcefully, with conviction.

GOP elitists will allow Obama to gain a second term... Just not buying that.
Of course, the way things are going; we may not even have an election in 2012. '2016' America will be long gone, if Repubs. . .with Conservatives; or Conservatives w/Repubs have not reclaimed leadership.
As for Palin verus Mitt or any other opposition; the idea of 'my way' or the highway, is a dangerously self-limiting idea; given the time frame and 'times' and the opposition we are facing.

Why don't they poll "conservatives" and see where these folks fall? Friggin' elitists covering for elitists! Remember the classic and main purpose of polls is to MAKE news, not to report it...to SHAPE opinion, not to reflect it.

Wasn’t there a report yesterday about how the GOP or RNC was broke as the 10 Commandments? Why, because they flip us conservatives the bird.
I guess if the GOP Insiders want to run the show and nominate willard or anyone counter to conservatives want, they will be finishing a distant 3rd in 2012.
Back to living up to the GOP original name “Know Nothings”.

Well to be fair they didn’t say they didn’t like her the poll was “who do you think is likely to win”.
Probably though it’s a bunch of Mittbots who indeed don’t like her.

I have NOTHING against corporations... but I do hold disdain for corporatists... they are not free market Conservatives... they always come down on the side of business over Liberty... and Haley sided with eminent domain law to give someones property to another private corporation to be developed for increased tax revenues and without concern for the ripping of a person or person's home away from them... not for the common good (school, roads etc) but for increased government revenues only. I have had just about all of the government stealing Freedom and Liberty that I can take in one lifetime.

I think Burr will win re-election this year in a landslide which will raise his profile big time. He’s from a State that we must win back, he’s a good conservative and someone who does not constantly stand in front of cameras. I think 2010 and 2012 will be years when voters will discard “cool” and opt for the simple basic truth, that we are in trouble economically, that Al Qaeda is as active as ever in wanting to attack us, that Obamacare will bankrupt us, that Cap and Tax is a nightmare and that we need to withdraw the government’s massive involvement with private industry as soon as possible. Burr and Mitch Daniels could be real dark horses.

I understand what you are saying. No one’s house/property should be ripped off unless it is ONLY for a NECESSARY common good.
