President Obama came back to work this week after leaving the Presidency for his Hawaiian holiday vacation. Hawaii proved to be a restful retreat for the President, his team and the White House press corps who all took time off from their regular duties to enjoy the Hawaiian sun and ignore their responsibilities.
But after 10 days of tropical silence, this week there is a sudden flurry of security reviews, media statements, ass-covering and more misstatements coming out of Washington from the Obama Administration. But we still dont know why the State Department didnt revoke the visa of a man they knew had ties to al-qaeda.
Even the normally workaholic Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was enjoying a silent 10 nights on the matter. Taking her time to get the facts and pack up the Christmas decorations, Hillary finally came out looking like she had just landed in Yugoslavia under sniper fire.

Secretary Clinton said that the State Department fully complied with the requirements set forth in the interagency process about sharing threat information.
No matter how I loathe the Hildebeast, let’s give FULL credit where it’s due:

[Jamie] Gorelick, an appointee of Bill Clinton, is the one who constructed the wall of separation that kept the CIA and the FBI from comparing notes and therefore invading the privacy of nice young men like, say, Muhammed Atta and Zacarius Moussaoui. While countless problems were uncovered in our intelligence operations in the wake of 9-11, no single factor comes close to in importance to Jamie Gorelick’s wall.
In fact, it was Gorelick’s wall, perhaps more than any other single factor, that induces some people to blame Clinton himself for 9-11 since he appointed her and she acted consistent with his philosophy of “crime fighting.” She put the wall into place as Deputy Attorney General in 1995.
And for good measure, she was appointed by Tom Daschle to serve on the “non partisan” 9-11 Commission. And we thought the fox in the henhouse was simply a metaphor. Of course, in a splendid example of “reaching across the aisle,” feckless Republican Slade Gorton of Washington did all he could to exonerate Gorelick in the commission. Thanks, Slade. God forbid the nation actually knows the truth.
Hillary can still lie with the best of them, lol.
Now get this. Karen De Young of the Washington Post informs us that the reforms to America’s intelligence community initiated by Cheney, President Bush and his the Republicans lapdogs in Congress in 2004, the legislation which created the National Counterterrorism Center, were the primary factor in the failure of the Intelligence Community to identify and deter the “underwear bomber.” Republicans Ruined Intelligence Community VIA http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2010/1/7/93518/61319
We all know that it was Hillary’s State Department that messed up big time with the panty bomber. The State Dept runs the Embassies and the State Dept issues Visas.
Obama got screwed by Hillary’s State Department and he can’t do a thing about it.
.
Sniper fire?
Flying squirrel at Ranger frolic alert
Lol, Hillary hasn’t cited Flying squirrels as a danger - YET.
Maybe in her next ‘story’.
Note; It seems the fed/guv wants some of these terrorists to succeed.
.
After the squirrel incident the chopper decided to go bonkers and we had to take an experimental Cunuck short-takeoff plane back to the base
Beer was the keyword that evening
Lol, you are doing the “it was a dark and stormy night” collaboration story thing! Once upon a time..
Thought vodka was Hillary’s ‘thing’.
It’s 23* here tonight and will be 18* tomorrow night.
Google shows 29* for you tonight and 20* tomorrow night!
Colder here!!
My tagline disappeared one day without explanation! My ‘text’ size changed here without explanation, and early today there were no ‘page views’ posted by the articles.
I’m off to bed devolve, enjoyed it!
