I feel your pain, I’ve been freezing my cojones off here in SW Az.

And they have used the word snow on at least 3, maybe 4 different occasions already this winter.
And it usually doesn't even get cold until mid-late January around here.
That's how we know it's not science but a religion. That's how I feel about my Catholic faith. Whatever happens is part of it and nothing can disprove it.
But these guys claim that they are being all scienterrific and everything. WHen they start saying, This or that train of events would "disprove" or even "cause me to have grave doubts" then I'll listen. But right now, whatever happens, as you say, it's all Globull Warming, uh, I mean climate change. So I don't believe it.

Went on my honeymoon to the Bahamas around Christmas time in 1966. Dove into the hotel pool, yelled something obscene, and got right out. Couldn’t swim in it. The temperature was about 55*F. Couldn’t go in the ocean. Even the horses were drinking coffee to keep warm.
Nothing has changed.

I wonder how many years of cooling it will take for them to admit AGW is bogus? Decades? Centuries? Ever?
It’s very true that the current cold spell doesn’t mean long term temperatures are declining. In exactly the same way, a couple of warm summers in the late 90s don’t mean that long term temperatures are increasing.
What is true is that global warming advocates built their entire case on a few years of rapidly increasing temperatures, carefully edited and scaled to make the increase look like a ‘hockey stick’. With each passing year, it becomes more and more difficult to make that short-term trend look like a long term trend.
In the midst of an ice age, these biased “experts” would be claiming that the glaciers do not disprove their AGW grail.
A few years from now we will be being scolded (by these ignorant a$$holes) about man-made global cooling (as in the 1970’s).
Yowza, I’d like one of these experts to explain to me how “global warming” can account for all this cold weather, here in the USA and abroad. I was reading a forum the other day and some doofus was crying about “but it’s so hot and dry in Australia.” HELLO, it’s summer down under you goofball.
Don’t make some sense somehow.
I’ve come to the irrefutable conclusion that people who make statements such as the headline of this article and who believe in ‘’global warming’’ are the most trenchant example of what happens when one has done way, way too much LSD in their youth.

I’ve lived in west Texas for nearly 58 years. During that time the National Weather service never issued a blizzard warning like they did for 2009 Christmas Eve.
A solar minimum = we all suddenly freeze.
