Graham says he’s ready to make a deal on climate change legislation (wants to be 60th vote)
The Regional Business Journal, Charleston, SC ^ | 2010-01-06 | Mike Fitts

Sen. Lindsey Graham is ready to be the 60th Senate vote to get the climate change and energy bill passed, he told a Midlands audience Tuesday at Harbison State Forest.

“Since they’ve got no Republicans but me, business is open,” Graham said.

Graham has been criticized by his own party for pursuing bipartisan resolutions on such issues as illegal immigration and possible filibusters of judicial nominees. And he believes that the cap-and-trade bills being debated this year are another occasion to do so, he told the audience at a forestry conference hosted by the S.C. Wildlife Federation.

He said he has worked with Democrats, including Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., to craft a bill he can support.

Graham, like most politicians—and certainly all democrats—dig in their heels in stubborness, rather than listen to the constituents . AND WE'VE HAD ENOUGH

Worthy things buried during the holidays will be in ‘reply to self’.

Also note the Universal Voter scheme. Very important in case you missed it:

It is time to find that dead boy in Graham’s bed, and soon. It is clear that there is something really bad in his background to think like this.

If SC doesn’t have recall, they should immediately pass it and put it to use!

>>he republican party needs to field a conservative candidate against him in the primaries....or yes...he will be replaced....by a Dhimmicrat.

Never happen. The Dhimmi’s didn’t run a candidate against him last time because they said that Graham was the best Dhimmi they could hope for.

Do you think the Democrats are threatening to out him? That would explain a lot about Graham but I find it hard to believe that most people don’t already think he’s gay. It wouldn’t be much of an outing.

Never forget, Al Franken was selected, not elected. He never had the high count in votes. Only through judicial tyranny did he take a seat from the Senate.

Never forget, Ted Kennedy’s replacement in the Senate was selected, not elected. Democrat lawmakers who didn’t want a Republican to possibly choose Kerry’s replacement (had he won the presidency) didn’t want the voters to have a say.

The traitorous, smug, little drama queen is not going to be the 60th vote, because more than one senate democrat is not in favor of this legislation, so Lindsey is just going to be a neon a##wipe vote leading the parade (if any) for other RINOs who love to graze in the ‘greenie’ pastures across the aisle.

I saw Lindsey smugly announce to Greta that intended to work with the democrats on “energy,” proudly announcing that he had gotten off shore drilling included in the legislation, as though he ought to be praised for his treachery and abject stupidity.

Like his husband, John, Lindsey is also profoundly stubborn and doesn't allow facts later learned to alter a decision once a decision has been made. Never mind that global warming has been proved a hoax or that green jobs are nothing more than government expansion. Were it all so profitable, private enterprise would have already been off and running without need for any government legislation, DUH.

savedbygrace had the best idea. Leadership should definitely remove Lindsey from committee assignments, so we need to relate that to Mitch McConnell.

Unfortunately, phone calls, letters and emails won't change his mind, but he deserves to be inundated anyway.
