Over the past year, Secret Service agents charged with protecting President Obama seem to have taken a keen interest in the Birther movement, the committed group of anti-Obama activists around the country who claim the president was born in Kenya, not Hawaii, and is thus ineligible to serve. The idea has been widely and repeatedly debunked (see FactCheck.org's thorough takedown here), but that hasn't stopped Birthers from doggedly making their case in American courtrooms, to US attorneys, and even to a rural county grand jury, in the hopes that a judge will rule in their favor and Obama might eventually be removed from office. Those efforts have failed spectacularly, but they seem to have succeeded in placing the Birthers on the radar of the Secret Service.

This will be challenged shortly via quo warranto in DC District Court. Movants with standing (Chrysler dealers who lost their dealerships due to Barry's actions) will see to it that this case - as opposed to previous cases not filed in the proper venue - is not dismissed due to lack of standing.
Lord willing, the quo warranto will be heard on its merits and justice will be served.

Hey, yesterday you were calling Sanger ‘a Murderer’ for promoting birth control to stop conception, now you claim Obama is not president. I can use you as the model of a conservative. You can write the next contract with America using those winning points.
I want him to PROVE that he is "legally president" in accordance with the requirements set forth in The Constitution. Just because you, or some other 0bamunist says he is, doesn't make it so. Any acts, laws, treaties, etc. enacted during his time usurping the office, is a separate issue.

Defend ??? LOL. I am sure the first place an Obama operative would go is to a ‘birth-certificater’ or ‘Sanger-murderer’ thread and challenge the posted ideas. Because those two themes are the two biggest threat's to Obama's presidency, right??? If they can get just a few Freepers to question those two ideas, Conservatives lose both 2010 and 2012

Trolls defend liberals and their ideas on all subjects on FR. The defense of liberal ideas are what’s suspicious, not the specific subject matter. Nice attempt at deflection though.
People who can't abide the idea that Obama could be president have made an emotional investment in a fantasy that's obviously off target and pointless. But this isn't about that fantasy going anywhere. It's about the emotional satisfaction of clinging to it.
I would agree that any real effort to win elections has no use for sociological psychoses like this stuff.
