Does that mean we can run about madly bombing everyone and everything on that day? What a happy coincidence!

Another generation or two and Pearl Harbor will merely be a vacation spot.

Publix runs a tight ship, is conservative, and this is probably unintentional.

They have like 24 hours to fix this.

I got to be honest, I really can't get excited about this, I shop at a Publix about half the time for my groceries, I like the stores in my area, middle Tennessee. As far as how the stores are run in other areas of the country I do not know. My gut feelings is this calendar probably was contracted out and no one in the Publix management in charge of what ever department didn't notice it. I would rather shop from a store whose headquarters is in a red state or broader line red state then to shop at a store that is headquarter in a blue state. I'm not hard core on this principle, as I have many exceptions to it but I think you get the point. Not only do I not want my money going to those liberal states, but I find that some shopping chains that come from the hard core democratic controlled states/cities are poorly run and out of touch with the concept you get more sales with just having the cheapest price and moving inventory then just having gimmicks to get you in the store.

This is what happens when a Muslim becomes President of the United States.

I've never seen "Pearl Harbor Day" on a calendar. I don't think I've even heard of it. Is there a statutory basis for it, or a Presidential proclamation? (Other than the one issued on December 8, 1941.)

If we do have a Pearl Harbor Day, I want a Boston Massacre Day, a Maine Day, a Lusitania Day, and a 9/11 Day. Preferably all on Fridays. Maybe also a Bay of Pigs Day and an Iranian Embassy Day, just so we can remember and grieve over every defeat and disaster in our past. And of course every one of these must be printed on every calendar in America; failure to do so may result in the rage of local talk radio hosts.

Publix is an outstanding grocery chain with courteous, motivated employees and conservative, responsible management. Publix is also non-union, and doesn't require me to register for a "spy card" in order to receive a fair price. Publix even closes for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter so its people can be with their families on those holidays -- and proudly advertises the fact.

I suspect that omitting "days of remembrance" from its calendars was quickly seen as a mistake by Publix -- as reflected in its lightning-fast decision to pull all of the calendars from its stores. Everybody makes mistakes, but the good ones correct theirs and learn from them. Publix is one of the very good guys.

Screw the Qur'an and the radical followers. May they wander in the desert of their domain and drink the sands of their origin instead of the gamblings casinos, buying of slaves in Africa and their sexual deviance.

I really desopise the way people and our newly elected president apologize and kow tow like he's one of them, if he IS one of them and doesn't call treason on Code Pink aiding and abetting, ACORN, the cronies at CAIR, stomping on the constitution and endeavoring to enslave WE THE PEOPLE into a taxed to death country

If he contiues to believe the alleged "lone wolfs" are not directed by the words of the Qur'an, the sheiks, mullahs , Imam's emir's etc then he better wake up because the Qur'an ain't the answer, and they ARE the enemy that started a religious war. I will NOT forget the 90's, the USS Cole, the African embassies blown, will not forget all thefallen in Iraq and Afghnistan( NOT by Christians, Hindus or Buddists, will NOT forget the train bombings in Spain, the terror in England the irrational assauly on a comic in the Netherlands, the riots in france, the endless wars in Sudan, israel, the full on attack of INNOCENT BLOOD all over especially and including 9/11! Screw the Qur'an and their radical followers. They don't like this country, go back to mecca and worship your black rock.

*whew* Now to go out to the range and exercise my second amendment right. Wonder if I could get a few of them there calendars or something else for paper targets.
