A founder of the Tea Party movement said Wednesday he had a warning for Republican leaders: Back conservative candidates or else other states will suffer the same backlash that toppled Florida's Republican Party chairman this week.
"We are turning our guns on anyone who doesn't support constitutional conservative candidates," said Dale Robertson, who operates TeaParty.org out of Houston and helped start the movement nearly two years ago.
He declined to say which states are next on the Tea Party's hit list. He said party leaders in those states would be warned privately, but the movement's wrath "will be very clear publicly" if they don't listen.

Woohoo!!!
It’s hunting season and I have a bunch of RINO tags......
Let’s pick ‘em off one by one. No RINO should be in any leadership position in GOP. Zero. Zilch.
Seems like the dimwits got the message before the GOP. More like the GOP is being willfully ignorant.
The vacuum left by the GOP’s divestiture of its role opposing the demrat party in general and its Marxist leadership is being filled.
Most natural thing in the world.
It only remains to be seen whether the Tea Party movement evolves to the new second American party or it facilitates the ouster of the RINOs. Either way it will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
So does that include Steele?
Mr. Robertson planned to deliver the warning in a phone call Wednesday to National Republican Committee Chairman Michael S. Steele, who a day earlier said he supported the Tea Party activists and that he didn’t think their movement had caused a schism in the Republican Party.
First Wife & I eliminated the Republican Party for our donor list two years ago and give only to candidates of our choice. This thread gives me a idea to reply to the robo calls...
‘ya think Mitt is all wee wee’d up?
That is to assume that Greer was ousted by the Tea Party Movement. Greer was a big problem to the county REC’s in that he spent the party money poorly to where the local party offices have to do without and he was endorsing his favorite candidates before the primaries.
Essentially, he was a one man organization doing the same thing that brought the NY 23rd debacle.
The Acid Test will be on Immigration Deform. Any Republican who goes over to the Social Democrats needs to be strenuously targeted. Of course, if they let that one get by then nothing much else matters except ammo and storable food..
Yup, and he also said that if he didn't have the job he does, he would join the tea parties. What Mr. Steele fails to realize is that his performance at that job is one of the reasons the tea parties started in the first place!
The scum at the DC elite RNC/GOP club have been ignoring the base for years. Its payback time.
The chairman’s resignation headed off a party meeting Saturday where he expected to face fierce opposition from conservative activists.

“Its payback time.”
That should be the motto of the fragmented Tea Party...
ping.
That definitely includes Steele. Steele should step down.
RINOs refuse to support conservatives. Why should they expect conservative support?
