Detroit has greatly improved these past 35 years — or rather, sometime during the past 35 years the looks of the city have improved here and there thanks to the small-l liberal use of the wrecking ball and bulldozer. Seriously, more of Detroit has been cleared away than the aftermath of Alice Cooper’s Halloween night concerts.

The video spread I looked at a couple days ago made detroit look like it had been bombed! The city officials actually built steel scaffolding behind a front of one building to hold it up and make it appear it was a building..it was only the front.
