Don’t worry. We have a group of FREEPERS who are Buddhists
and I assure you that we have the highest degree of respect for Christianity. And whether we have publicity or not doesn’t matter at all.

If anything, Buddhists believe in liberty and freedom.Wiithout it there could be no religious practise. That is why Buddism is here in America, The practitioners fled tyranny in Asia, hardly more than a generation ago. For that safe haven, we are very grateful.

I'm not a Buddhist, but I think Brit Hume, though very well-intentioned and sincere, was wrong in asserting that there is no forgiveness in Buddhism. I think Ann was wrong too, in asserting that Buddhists want each man to be a little god.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that Buddhists believe that sins, and good actions, return to one through the law of karma. When one is purified and achieves Nirvana, he is identified with the absolute unmanifest Reality, eternally liberated, and untouched by the effects of his past actions.

Buddhism can seem superficial and selfish, as can Christianity, if one relies on "blog posts" and articles in popular media.
