Feminist theologian and author Mary Daly, who retired from a professorship at Boston College rather than allow men to take her classes, has died.

This picture is the best endorsement for assisted suicide I’v ever seen.
The far leftist Feminists always seemed to say how great the “Amazon Women” (the Greek ones) were, well at the very least the Greek Era Amazon Women went off to live on their own island and didn’t always march through ancient Greece to demand they be treated like men. Instead they Actually did it by starting their own independant society. The Classical Greek Amazon actually “made the rubber hit the road”. The modern day ones wanted the extra privileges while eschewing the responsibility that comes with it.
Why didn’t the radical feminists go out and buy an island int he south pacific and start their own damn society? That question usually shuts up the radical feminists who are more radical socialists than they are actual feminists.
Wow. That os sure one unhappy looking person
Like it or not, Daly was absolutely huge in her influence. When I was in college, she was probably the most discussed living academic on campus.
You are simply saying what you believe she did. Nothing wrong with it. The only way we can learn from history is to discuss it.
And history, being what it is, will be full of “dead people” that did varying degrees of bad things. ;)
Maybe it’s speaking of the “recently dead” that is what tends to make us feel uncomfortable.
Well, someone, somewhere really hurt Ms. Daly. Otherwise, it would be difficult to explain her, apparently, dreadful outlook on life.
I do hope that she is in a better place...and that there are men there.
Completely proves Rush's theory.
>> The irony of a man-hater who looks like a man. <<
God has an Ironic sense of Humor.
The lyrics were neutered from “here Men are Men” to
“Here all are one”
“Music to play at her funeral: I am Woman by Helen Reddy.”

I would love to switch the recordings and play “Two Girls for Every Boy” by the Beachboys.
How many of those young women went on to have abortions because of her? I'd say the blood of those aborted is on her head as well.
That's a man, baby.
Kyrie eleison. Christe eleison. Kyrie eleison.

Good points.
Oh, well. I guess I will say it. What really bothered me about Daly when I read her was that she did not do academic work. She published a lot, but there was nothing rigorous about her analysis. She was a charlatan who misused data when it suited her needs. She had a message for young women: everything was men's fault.
Then I will, good riddance to bad trash.
