There is a double fence at Douglas, and there are 280 miles of fence across the Arizona-Mexico border.

So I suppose the fence around Douglas isn't double. Add are there any gaps in it? They had to cross somewhere.

Perhaps I should have said that if there was effective border security at the border this death could have been prevented. Hashing out the details of the fence is irrelevant.

I should also mention that if Mexico wasn't such a racist and oppressive country towards darker skinned and native people this death probably wouldn't have happened either.

And as for Mexico being a racist and oppressive country towards darker skinned and native people, it depends where you are in Mexico. In some locations, the darker skinned and native people are extremely hostile, if not downright murderous, toward the lighter skinned and mestizo and guachupines and gringitos.

Imagine the howling if America encouraged blacks to enter Mexico illegally because they behave the same way in some areas.

Border patrol wasn’t interested in his story other then why he was there.

Pretty much the same attitude as the Game Management folks on Ft. Huachuca. They wanted to make sure I knew the ROE for UDAs on Post. I asked if I could shoot them, and the game warden shot me a scowl.
