ROFLMAO!!! It's stuff like this that adds to my conviction that Alaska is the only 'normal' state left in the Union.
I’d move there myself, if there were any jobs in my field to be had, and I had the resources to buy a house. Other than those, the only thing holding me back is the fact that my wife is a hothouse flower, and would freeze solid up there. Alaska is probably the only other state that could make a go of seceding, as they have tremendous energy reserves, and could use those to trade for the things they can’t manufacture yet.
