Romney, hated here on FR, would’ve been a better President than BO or Juan McLame...imo.
To: rabscuttle385
of course he is going to run again.
he ran once so now has name recognition
he has money up the wazoo
he never dismantled his organization keeps it going through PACs etc.
going on some cockamamee book tour in Iowa.
as long as he is not caught in bed with a dead girl or live boy he is going to run
whether he gets the nomination or not remains to be seen but i am convinced he will run again

I doubt that Mitt will be the 2012 nomeniee.
But, if Huckabee dropped out when he should have, Mitt would have had a fighting chance to beat McLame for the 2008 nomination.

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t think that Romney will run? Especially with Obama looking weaker by the day?

I agree. Much better, especially with the economy.
This country needs a businessman at this time to fix/manage/work with business and the economy.

Romney, hated here on FR, would have been slightly less evil than theFascist Dictator, or The Psychopath”
There, fixed it.

I discovered an inconsistency in my own thinking the other day that I have chosen to correct. When a friend said he did not think Obama was the leftist that he is governing as during the campaign and this is not the change he voted for. I said he was a fool. He should have looked at Obama’s record. Obama is doing nothing that is out of line with his record.
I have a post on this site saying Romney is probably more conservative than his record because he had to govern in the People's Republic.
I am not exactly sure how or why I was applying a different standard to someone just because they are in the GOP. Particularly one who had to sell his soul to be governor in a place like Massachusets. Evidently I am an idiot.

The nation is not in the mood for a f*cking RINO or moderate to be president, even though Obozo might try to appear that he's sliding to the center as 2012 approaches. Only Dems masquerading as Republicans would want Romney as the nominee.

I think the movie “2012” has a higher possibility of happening than Romney.

You are right, we need someone with practical experience, like business experience- NOT someone who is a career politician who has dabbled in business (cough- Romney- cough). Although Romney’s myth is that he is a businessman, the reality is, his career with Bain for example, mostly consisted of taking credit for other’s work. By all appearances, he hasn’t gotten his hands dirty in real business since 1984. (I don’t count his later stints with Bain and his Olympic career as those were mostly just posing for the cameras while others shoveled the s&&&.)
