Fox News senior analyst Brit Hume appeared on The O'Reilly Factor tonight and stood by the statements he made this weekend regarding his advice for Tiger Woods to turn to Christianity. In fact, Mr. Hume went even further this evening with his thoughts on redemption and Jesus Christ. (videos below)

Will miss Brit Hume when he retires, just as I miss Tony Snow.
Woah. The libtards will be all over this. Stand tall Mr. Hume!
Brit was the only one I really watched on Fox.
He did a really good job during Reagan’s funeral.
Wow! Straight from the heart, too.
I like Brit. I sold him a car in the early 90’s. I was the official check taker. Not the salesman. He traded in an old Mercedes 300D.

Brit Hume and Tony Snow = Two Class Acts.
I watched FNC for them.
Shame Tony is gone. He will be and is sorely missed.
Hope Brit decides to stay for a long time.
After reading his statement, I stand by Brit Hume.
Brit Hume understands the power of his faith, the power of Christ. Tony Snow did too.
Same here. I always thought he was a really good man. Now I know it.
I came to this understanding in a round about manner and saw the explanation of it best in "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis. (my hero)
I think that Christianity offers the most to all men and that those of us that try to be Christians know how both hard and easy it can be, if only we trust in God totally and not in anything that this world or man provides.
I hope Tiger can somehow save himself, the road he's on is a one way ticket to Palookaville.
This is one of things I always lked about Brit when he was in the public eye and doing the news, he wore his Christianity in his heart and not on his sleeve.
Now that he’s retired, more power to him.
They cut off an important part. “You speak the name of Christ and all hell breaks out.”

The Reformed position, more or less, is that it is impossible for ANY man to redeem himself; indeed, it is ONLY the work of the Holy Spirit, initiating grace in the unregenerate man’s heart. No man will seek Christ of his own accord.
As that beautiful song goes ‘just a sinner saved by Grace’? I would agree wholeheartedly. Props to Mr. Hume, takes some stones to profess and defend the faith. :-)
I was watching ESPN’s “Around the Horn” (or Pardon the Interruption, it was on before SportsCenter) and the guy was savaging Brit Hume. Said Tiger shouldn’t take advice from “these news guys.”
heck, I don't know any of the theory behind Christianity. I'm only a believer that there is a God, that he sent Jesus to us and that by his dying he somehow made a payment for my soul. I hope and pray daily that I can somehow find my way to honor his gift, but everyday I fail, dust myself off and try again. I just hope and pray that God helps me find a way to help me honor him and all that he's given me.
I can't imagine the temptations that Tiger had, with all the money, fame and adoring women. All of this since he was a teenager.... I doubt very seriously that I wouldn't have done the same thing or worse.... I am no saint and can easily see how the devil could have allowed pride to work it's evil magic.
