Obama’s program won’t work any more than the New Deal did.

Rubbish! Mr. Smith was clearly not in Washington on 9/12.

Granted, our beloved country is in desperate straits, but the death of American individualism and exceptionalism is greatly exaggerated. Nor is it at all clear that blood will not be shed before this cultural war is over. While it is fervently to be wished that we will overcome the threat of tyranny without civil war, Americans in vast number will, if forced, choose war over subservience.

When all is said and done, the word “failure” will be either spelled ‘Obama’ or be synonymous with Obama.

By the time his name comes up on a ballot for re-election he will be viewed as the greatest enemy of ordinary American’s in the history of the Presidency.

His ideas and policies are THAT disgusting.

My father was born in 1919. He spoke of seeing old miners nearly starve in the 1920s, when they could no longer work. I think FDR had the right idea, and Social Security has served some purpose. Johnson is the one who should be blamed for wrecking the economy with social programs.

This is an excellent exposition by Smith. It puts together what i have been thinking about the changes lately.

Now I just need to adapt to the new Socialist Age in America

The American thinker has good stuff

Obama has not readjusted my life in any way. When he tries , I will send him a message.

If he tries and succeeds, then he will have one less US citizen to be concerned about.
