WASHINGTON (AP) - All but one of the Washington staffers for Rep. Parker Griffith resigned on Monday in protest of the Alabama congressman's decision to switch from the Democratic to the Republican Party.
The resignations left Griffith with just one staffer in his Washington office, a scheduler. A handful of employees remained at his district offices in Alabama, said Gene Tackett, his district director.

Good.
They left because they know how much thier really worth and there’s more American tax dollars on the rat side
I’m sure there are plenty of jobs available in the service sector. “Paper of plastic?”
Job openings in Alabama!
BWAHAHAHAHAHA, see you in the umemployment lines you dingbats. No more “special” healthcare and cushy gigs, now you are just like us.
“Would you like fries with your health care?”.
Excellent. Now Griffith can hire some competent people who want to work. More Win-Win.
Loyalty oath!
They’re just ahead of the curve. Many of their colleagues in other Dem congressional office will be leaving unvoluntarily in November.
>>Im sure there are plenty of jobs available in the service sector. Paper of plastic?<<
And in the culinary industry — “would you like fries with that?”
Good riddance, the fewer of those liberal twitts working in the Gov sector the better.
“Heya! Don’t let the door hit ya in the keister on your way out, and plan on bringing your own box to pack your crap out!”
Griffith will be able to say “I personally have created x number of jobs.”
Seriously, this guy had better be squeaky clean, because to the libs Parker is now The Enemy. If there was any dirt in that office (liberal personal hygiene issues aside), they took it with them.
Good, these libtards won’t be around to influence him anymore - they ought to get new kneepads and apply for a job with the WH if they need more work.
Good for them.
While I too say “good riddance,” those of you who are laughing about “paper or plastic” and “see you in the unemployment line” are likely kidding yourselves, unfortunately.
The former aides who want to stay in DC will likely end up on some other congresscritter’s payroll, or at some marxist-leaning think tank. The other wonderful alternative is an age-old Washington trick called “burrowing,” where political appointees and congressional/senate staff get themselves put onto senior civil service jobs (and it’s never less than GS-13 BTW) for the rest of their useless lives.
I suspect the burrowing alternative won’t work here, but these people won’t be hurting, *at* *all*

Gee, I wish it were that easy for me to get rid of morons at work!
So much the better. His new Republican staff will be of a better class, anyhow.
Great minds and all that :)
