Yes. I can play chords, (never bothered to learn any lead stuff because I always considered that “someone else’s job”) on the guitar (1985 Les Paul Custom (Fire Red ) and my REAL favorite(s) (I have 2, a 1975 &76) Maple Glo 4001 Rickenbacker bass.

At one time (for about 22 years), I had an F-412 Guild. I loved it. I sold it and have regretted it ever since, but it went to a great home and a player much more talented on the instrument than I considered myself to be.

(I noticed in your tag lime that you play bass also!)

I was looking at F-412’s on eBay just the other day. One sold in near mint condition for $1800. With those bright maple sides and big body I imagine they must sound incredible — zingy and deep at the same time.

Yes. I play bass and guitar, organ, piano and keyboard, drums, and do recording and audio production. I’m into doing a near finished mix right out of the board, but do some mastering in CuBase on a PC. Lately I have been exploring Pro-Tools and Garage Band on a Mac, but I do everything in Real Time. No looping or pasting with me, no siree!

I have only been playing Bass for a short time, but it has become my favorite instrument.
