It's not an incident at all if there's nothing there, and since it was a "white powder" odds are good there's nothing there.

The worst case of false anthrax scare happened in the fall of 2001 when some stupid women at Planned Parenthood ran off several hundred thousand envelopes made up to look like what they thought an anthrax letter might, and then sent them to "members/subscribers/customers"?.

They cooked up a second such mailing but got stopped before it happened.

NO ONE WAS PROSECUTED. A guy mailed a couple of dozen fake letters about the same time and the FBI/ATF etc. sent him up the river for over 20 years.

Remember that ~ FBI/ATF are afraid of planned parenthood.

Muslim terrorists were responsible for the first anthrax mailing scare—with real anthrax.

This looks to me like another harmless white powder episode. Most likely a bunch of leftist moonbats mailing powder to congressional conservatives because they hate Republicans.

IMHO,FWIW, I have always thought Saddam orchestrated the anthrax attacks as a threat to GWB not to attack him and Iraq in retaliation for harboring and letting the 9-11 attackers stay-and-play at Salmon Pac, along with GWB messin’ up the little Oil-For-Food scam he had going. It let GWB know the terrorists had the stuff, and how easy it could get passed around if Saddam wanted to do it.

GWB and our US Gov’t could not let that info EVER GET OUT due to the mass panic and economic damage it would have done to the country.

I also believe that this is why the dems used the “NO WMD’S”
arguement to defeat “GWB’s Iraq War”. They knew he couldn’t tell the REAL REASON why, so the dems, with the help of the lame stream media, start the “No WMD’s” stuff, until it became a “truth”, with no way for GWB to fight back, and the dems not getting blamed for starting the rumor.

OK, sorry for the rant. I’m going to take my meds, remove my tin foil hat and asbestos suit, and return this thread back to regular FR postings.
