It looks like a happy new year for you -- if you're a public employee.
That's the takeaway from a recent Rasmussen poll that shows that 46 percent of government employees say the economy is getting better, while just 31 percent say it's getting worse. In contrast, 32 percent of those with private-sector jobs say the economy is getting better, while 49 percent say it is getting worse.
Nearly half, 44 percent, of government employees rate their personal finances as good or excellent. Only 33 percent of private-sector employees do.
It sounds like public- and private-sector employees are looking at different Americas. And they are.

I went through it once, and my impression may be wrong, but it sure seems like working for government is the best way to get one of the better salaries.
Also, the list seems to be jump from fairly low to extremely high:

Perhaps intended to feel class warfare.
Buncha hacks who got job because an uncle was a hack himself.
What in the hell would a goverment employee no about itthey still have thier job.
I am proud to say i do not work for the goverment, but i still have a job and the econimy is still the same for me
but i can still see the economy is not good.
My town used to support three resturants, plus a drive in,
now all thats left is the drive in.
The cafe,s started closing with the no smoking laws,( made By the great clean on the outside and filth on the inside society ) and then finished because of the economy.
