Brother Jeff, I know this is not a development you were hoping for, and the prayers and support continue, from all of us lifting you up, asking God to strengthen you, beseeching the Throne for a miraculous healing.

You're in a battle for your life, that's no secret. You are fighting that good fight, and you're feeling tired and weary but your decision to pursue the possibility of Carbon Ion Radiation is the right thing to do, and I will be praying for a 'good report' on your getting that treatment.

Meanwhile, while I cannot imagine how you are truly feeling and thinking, I've been pondering the fact that in this world, we find ourselves in a continual battlefield between good and evil, and our enemy the Devil seeks to rob, kill and destroy.

The Lord Jesus is your (and our) Commander-in-Chief, and if He be for us, who can be against us? If you can, try to work up some good old fashioned indignation at the Devil if you hear any whispers about it being 'too late' or 'time to give up', it's never time to give up, and I urge you to emulate a great American General, Anthony McAuliffe, he was the guy commanding the 101st Airborne during the Battle of the Bulge, and you know what he's famous for, when he received an ultimatum and demand to surrender from the Nazis, he responded with one word: "NUTS!"
