And the only question asked will be - Do we have your support...
Ya think that this just might involve that little problem that Iran is close to creating a nuke?

It looks like something rather important event is around the corner if they are recalling their envoys.
FWIW the source is Presstv.ir which is Iran.
Just wanted to clarify before anybody would take the content as gospel.

How can we validate this report as being true, and how can we determine, if it is true, when and if the envoys return to their posts?

YES, the first annual meeting of Israeli Foreign Ministers was held in Jerusalem.
There is one other article about this posted to FR, which can be found by clicking on the KEYWORD: israelidiplomats -- and there is a second news article from Israel posted on FR which is not about the conference, but it mentions it.
Somewhere near the same time that this conference was held, Benyamin Netanyahu called a closed door meeding of his cabinet; and I also noted some news articles about his first visit to Cairo during the same time period.
This is from Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs website:

Israels ambassadors and consuls general serving throughout the world will discuss broad diplomatic and strategic issues at a conference to be held next week in Jerusalem.
Heads of Missions Conference - 27-31 December 2009
(Communicated by MFA Spokespersons Bureau)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman, will host a conference next week (27-31 December) for Israeli Heads of Missions. At the conference, Israels ambassadors and consuls general serving throughout the world will discuss broad diplomatic and strategic issues.
This is the first time a conference for all of Israels Heads of Missions has been held. The idea is to facilitate direct dialogue with the countrys leaders, mutual updates on major diplomatic issues, and a discussion of action plans to deal with the challenges awaiting the State of Israel in the international arena in the coming year, including the Iranian threat.
>>”...rather important event...”
I think one question (to every diplomat) will be: “What will the nation to which you are assigned think/do, if we attack Iran?” Also: “Do you think that destroying the nuclear sites (in Iran) will help or harm the revolution?” and “Will it be safe for you to return to your assigned nation?”
