ANDERSON — Anderson police discovered Thursday that a black girl at Anderson High School was responsible for what police had labeled a “hate crime” against blacks.
The 15-year-old girl wrote racist comments and drew symbols, such as “K.K.K.” and Nazi crosses, that were “directed toward her race” on five pieces of 8½-by-11-inch paper on Wednesday, Capt. Robert Kirvin said.
