President used Marine base on vacation (shows "that he supports the troops")

"The military tends to be more right wing, conservative leaning, and there's a bias when you have a Democratic, liberal president," said Michael Naho'opi'i, who graduated from the Naval Academy in 1986 and retired as a lieutenant commander. "A lot of it has to do with security. But it does show that he supports the troops."

The Marines "enjoy a superb relationship with the White House staff and Secret Service, and eagerly look forward to supporting future presidential visits to Hawaii," said Col. Robert D. Rice, commanding officer of Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

Perhaps put some golf courses in Afghanstan and Iraq. He might support our people there as well.

He probably made sure that the Marines were no where to be seen when he was on their base.

As is, looks like Tiger Woods before he got into Barry Bonds’ stash and hunked up.

When I use to work in DoD, a few of these high brass retired officers were full of themselves. I remembered one. He was from New Jersey and went to Rutgers University. He was so liberal. Yet, he retired as a Full Colonel in the US Army. He would be as some say in certain circles, a perfumed prince. He was one of those. Back in 2000, I got lectured by him for supporting Bush but he also lectured me how four wheeling should be banned due to being bad on the environment when he saw my truck. Of course, he drove a BMW. I wonder how much the rank and file troops respected him, probably not too much.

Loser? Obama or Col Rice? I’d say Rice - looks like he thinks if he kisses zero’s ass enough then he’ll get a star.....I absolutely detest military members that put their desire for a promotion ahead of this country....btw, before I get flamed, my dad retired after 26 years in the AF and I worked for DoD for 21 years before transferring to DoJ. Needless to say, in my 21 years I ran across alot of officers who were more interested in their next promotion then what was best for the country....and sad to say, I personally know a bunch of those idiots (retired general officers) who came out and endorsed zero....people that I considered friends and was absolutely shocked when they came out for the Kenyan instead of the Vietnam War hero! I’m still shaking my head and feeling such sadness!

He supports athletes, too. That makes him an athletic supporter. X-tra small. Wee=wee’d out.

Michael Naho’opi’i,I missed who this guy is but to have been an Academy grad and retire as a Lt.Commander doesn’t say much for his ability as an officer.

Obama supports the free golf and the free gym and the free beach, at the Marine base.

Electing this Sod President was like giving him a free pass to Disneyland. The best ride there being Air Force One.

I was listening (I believe) to Fox News on XM radio earlier today and they were interviewing Hawaiian locals on the Obama visit. One woman said that Obama did not STAY on the military base like previous POTUS’, but instead disrupted the local people, businesses, etc., by staying in a $4,000 per night home.

Obama DID play golf on the military base, however. (rolls eyes)

You must have misunderstood what I said I was using sarcasm saying his only support of the base was in using it’s facilities. You should try to not call names here it isnt polite.
