Obama thrives financially for the same reasons that Warren thrives financially. Not all those that are blessed with money have God's blessing. Would that include a powerful church leader that is a Bishop, and a leader of Bishops in an anti-Christian religion, that teaches that Christianity is a false religion, and that devotes itself to converting Christians in America into it's own non-Christion religion, and that preached abortion and gay power for years?
