“This country has been increasingly leaning left for far too many years”

Polling and voter id point in the opposite direction, the Country has and is leaning slightly Right.

Nobama’s election was a situation where some very smart dems figured a way to play PC and White guilt to the max. 2006 and 2008 were reactions to GOP ineptness, GOP “trying to be bi-partisan” and feelings orientated voting.

Palin and the Tea Parties are forcing the GOP to change direction and voter ‘feelings” are very fleeting, both of which combined with Dem/Lib over-reach for max power, can and likely will make for big reversals in Nov. 2010.

Once the House is back in GOP hands and the Senate is below dem 60, how nobama and the dems act and react between 2010 and 2012 will be the determining factor for 2012 elections.

Dem and nobama reacting to no longer having the ability to be Constitutionally protected tyrants and from the nobama play-book we have seen thus far, he will try to crack down harder (EPA, etc.). Depending on how hard he tries forcing his way on us will determine whether he makes it through full one term or is booted out prior to Nov. 2012.

When its all said and done, Amerca’s “less than admirable” experience with dominating black politics will stick in people’s mind for a long time.

The pendulum has swung very far left, it will move back the other way.

Our current situation is the 60’s radicals enjoying a short-lived perfect storm. 60’s radicals had no fall-back position, they for the most part faded into Capitalists. They still have no fall-back position, its either all or nothing.

Beyond 2012, I see the dems abandoning far left liberalism. Hopefully the GOP will continue on a more Conservative path.

Remain confident that America will not peacefully evolve into a socialist state. The left has no grit for a hard conflict.

It will be a total disaster for all but the most conservative of black politicians. The others will be successfully painted as Zimbabwesque Obama-style tyrants and it will work. For years.

"Remain confident that America will not peacefully evolve into a socialist state. The left has no grit for a hard conflict"

Yep! That's the same kind of wasted day-dreaming that, in the 30's, 60's, and 90's, that got us to where we are now....and now, inevitably, into the even darker tyranny we are plunging.

Well...we reap what we sow...whether through "action" or "inaction"...For the Conservatives and Libertarians it has been through the "inaction" of just bitching about the destruction of the former Republic and the resulting loss of freedom and liberty....All the while hoping for the best, but doing nothing.

Not a criticism...just some thoughts...
