Scott Brown....He’s Getting To Her
Save WRKO ^ | December 31st, 2009 | Brian Maloney

Martha Coakley’s plan to coast into the general election without a campaign (or issues!) has effectively been thwarted by a surprisingly feisty, scrappy Scott Brown. While clueless Beltway GOP officials, pundits and other insiders continue to write off or ignore the race, it is clearly heating up here at home...

Nobody can afford polling on the race , apparently.

Usually, that means nobody wants to report polling. I'm sure they're doing their own internal polling.

The MSM is free to astroturf support for Coakley in the absence of polling data. That can't be good for Coakley, or they'd be trumpeting poll numbers all day long with an election in a few weeks.

Where the heck is the national Republican Party??? Where the heck is that Pubbies whimp RNC Chairman Michael Steele??? Where’s the bucks, national Pubbies?? Funny, the country is totally unsafe and unprotected By POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and....the American people know it!!! Republicans have a fighting chance to take the senate seat of Ted Kennedy and at the same time, help to destroy POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and his weak on defense and homeland protection Democrat Party. Republicans, we the people, shall remember your non-action in not providing Scott Brown with the bucks he needs to send out his message. Pubbies, you best wake up and get on board the train. If not, you shortly find there is no train for you to get on!!!!!

Here's Boston's WCVB with a story on the race.

At 1:20 into the video, Coakley is giving a speech in a Catalytic Converter company. On the side of one machine is a green sign that says "Super Brown." ROFL!

I read on another forum, (can’t remember which one-sorry) that
Scott Brown is receiving funds from the RNC. I don’t think they have to take out full-page ads for every candidate they are helping.

I do wish people would have facts to back up what they say when they go off on rants and tangents.

We have no way of knowing whether or not the RNC is sending financial aid. I am of the opinion that they are, and will stand by my belief until proven otherwise.

“There is a lot that outsiders can still do to help.
Money, of course.”

I am not from Mass. but plan on sending a donation tomorrow.

I have pledged to myself to support conservatives by donations, particularly where they are running against liberal Republicans in the primaries or are ignored by the RNC. So far, I've contributed directly to Rubio twice, Toomey once, Hoffman in NY23, and Harmer in the special Cal. house race. We won't win them all, but in close elections we can make a difference.

I sure won't be contributing through the RNC or Cornyn’s NRSC.

Good luck in Mass. A Brown win would more than rattle their cages in D.C.

I’m pretty sure that has come from Brown himself, perhaps he is down playing their support.

Ayla Brown on July 4, 2006

I post this because he has done a great job raising his daughters, and quite frankly Coakley has no children. I feel therefore she doesn’t represent traditional families in Mass, I’m sick of the phonies who claim to go to work for families & children and do anything but, like Barney Frank, pardon the pun.

Everyone in Massachusetts needs to know Gerald Amirault’s story and how it relates to Coakley.

Just listened to this. Wonderful. Wonderful.

I'm dreaming of an election night win for Scott Brown, with his daughter signing the National Anthem. It probably won't happen, but it makes me happy to imagine the Obamabots reaction to a Repub winning Kennedy's seat in the Senate.

Just as important as how she let Amairault rot in jail after it was clear as day he was innocent, she was fairly easy on Father Geoghan - click on my profile, follow the links. Lots there on Scott Brown and his family too.

Finally, Coakley’s undermined her own prospects via a refusal to debate Brown one-on-one, instead insisting that a little-known unenrolled candidate (coincidentally named “Joe Kennedy”) be present in every debate. That includes the upcoming WTKK debate referenced below this post. Forcing Kennedy onto the stage at every event is a crutch Coakley uses to disguise her cowardice.

Brown should call her bluff and stage a mock debate. In lieu of her being there he should have a cutout of her a la Obama in Denmark. Then stress the fact she refuses to face the voters.
